Hi! I’m Isa Lammers, a photographer from Amsterdam with a passion for capturing real moments and genuine connections. My work revolves around storytelling – the unique glances, emotions, and personalities of the people I photograph. By starting with a conversation, I give people the space to be themselves. This allows me to create images that are not only beautiful but also capture a piece of someone’s soul. My passion for photography is deeply rooted in my family. My grandfather, ( Eddy Posthuma de boer ) himself a photographer and honorary citizen of Amsterdam (and in my opinion, an honorary citizen of the world), showed me through his unique perspective just how extraordinary and beautiful people are. Through his eyes, I discovered my love for capturing the beauty of humanity – in all its purity and diversity. My philosophy is that spontaneity and sincerity are the keys to the most remarkable photos. That’s why you’ll often find me in cafés and other places where interesting people come together. I love striking up conversations with others, which has not only taught me to be spontaneous but also to capture that spontaneity in my photography. My dream? To become the best photographer in Amsterdam. Not through grand words, but through my ability to capture people in their purest and most authentic form. Amsterdam is my home and my inspiration – a city full of diversity, energy, and stories waiting to be told.
